Accreditation & The Parent Choice Tax Credit

During the 2025-26 school year, Focus Microschool will be working through the requirements of accreditation. Once accredited, parents will be able to use the Parent Choice Tax Credit to pay for tuition & fees. Parents may even have extra funds to use for tutoring and enrichment at Focus!!
What is the Parent Choice Tax Credit?
The Parent Choice Tax Credit in Oklahoma is a state program that provides tax credits to parents who choose to send their children to private schools. Beginning in 2024, eligible families can receive annual refundable tax credits ranging from $5,000 to $7,500 per student, depending on household income. The credit helps cover tuition and fees at accredited private schools. The program is part of Oklahoma’s broader effort to expand school choice and give families more educational options.
